What works best is to ignore that which you do not want and to reinfoces or rward what you do.
When you punish the bad stuff you tend to give the dog attention and notice even in the bad way that will accindentally reinfoce him to repeat the bad.

So where it is safe to do so only notice that goood stuff with lots of cuddles and treats and good boys.

For the bad redirect and do it calmly.
