Thanks everyone for the input. I DON'T want to give up on Spike. My nerves are just shot from other added stressors too. I do thank you all for helping me to realize that I don't want to 'get rid' of Spike, I just want him to be like all our other Yorkies, calm, loving and happy to just be. He won't come to us unless we have treats but he will do the stay sit etc.with no problem. Guess we will just wait for the classes to start next week and until then just up the doseage on my Xanax...
Hope everyone has a great 4th, still not sure where we will wnd up, but it will be away from the sound of the fireworks. I think PIXI my little girl would probably try to climb down my throat to get away from the noise. she already wraps around my neck when frightened.
