I started with a little topknot as soon as Pixie came home with me at 14 weeks and put one in everyday since...now she is so used to it, that as soon as i touch her topknot she lays down and puts her little head down for me and waits patiently till i'm done..its sooo sweet! even her groomer finds this amusing!
so the trick is to be patient, gentle and consistent and your baby will accept it as part of her everyday routine.
