I never used a bottle... I would get a syringe and fill it to the allotted amount on the formula directions and give it to them slowly. I also warmed it... They are so little that sucking is too hard on them and they tire out before they can actually get their little tummy's full. Also do not feed them on their backs formula can go into their lungs.... hold them like they are nursing from their mama... on their bellies. They need to be fed every 3 to 4 hours... also take a damp cloth and wipe them on their bottoms to make them urinate and poo. Good luck and I hope this helps... I fed 2 babies and they are grown and healthy=)
