 Need help with bottle feeding
Well my Daisy had to have an emergency spaying yesterday. It all started Tuesday evening, she was looking a little depressed so I took her temp and it was 103. This was around 8pm and the vet's office was closed so I called first thing in the morning and they took right away. She had a bad infection in her uterus, pyometra. The vet said this was uncommon and normally seen in older females who weren't breed and not spayed. So here is the issue I now have. She has stopped producing milk so I must bottle feed them. I have been unable to get them to suck on the nipple. I purchased a puppy bottle and nipple. Does anyone have any get advice or tips on how to get the little ones to suck. |
