Milly's are up.

I always previously thought I liked "down" ears the most, but now that I know just how expressive "up" ears can be, I find them simply adorable! You can pinpoint exactly what kind of mood Milly is in, just by looking at the state of her ears

Up: confident, playful
horizontal: relaxed, calm
back,close against her head: submissive, a greeting: she does this when she approaches me (usually followed by a roll on to her back)... I call it her "invisible ears"

up and close together: alert

and about a hundred variations in between.
