We went as soon as vaccinations were all done and that was good because Reggie had a forest of ear hairs growing in his ears by then that needed to be plucked! Since our groomer is also a breeder and sold us the dog she would meet me at my car and clip Reggie's hair out of his eyes for me before he was done getting all his shots so that he didn't have to come into the shop and be exposed to any other dogs before he had finished his parvo shots and had his kennel cough vaccine. That got him used to being handled a little bit before grooming day. |
