I am thinking it might be the lines too. I don't know where the lady I got my 2 males and 2 females from got their parents but my males are brothers from different litters and the girls are sisters from different litters but they are all half siblings. It doesn't seem to matter who I breed the boys to, I can breed them to my 11 lb female from another line and she will throw a tiny, tiny puppy. At the same time the rest of the litter will be a mix of sizes. None usually get as big as the mama. Sylvia
