We got 2 yorkies 10 days ago, and our girl, Sioux, has had a double ear infection, and she now has kennel cough. She started honking and I panicked that she had a collapsed trachea! I ran her to the animal hospital (our vet is closed on Wed), and they said she had kennel cough.
They gave her a 10 day antibiotic, that I was able to get in her with a greenie pill pocket and peanut butter. My problem is with her brother, Dakota. They have cried all day long...they sleep in the same crate, play together, etc. I went and got a seperate crate, and they are just crying. How long do I need to keep them seperated? I am sure Dakota has been exposed, but the crying is killing both of them. Please let me know what you think. I love having 2, but this is one of the downfalls.
