Most of the time she is very loving and cuddly, but she has this other side to her. If she is sleeping in one of our laps and we try to get up or even shift positions, she snaps and tries to bite us. She has even gone for our face. It is very frightening. We are at our wits end with this. We are a very loving family and she has been treated like gold from day one. Last night she did this to my son and actually got him on his hand. This just doesn't seem normal. How do we get her to stop doing this?
My TJ went thru this phase around 2 yrs old too. If he was sleeping and we startled him, he would snap.

So, when he was sleeping, we would take gently to him, saying "TJ I am gonna pick you up". We had to do it over and over, but he eventually grew out of it...

Is she spayed???
