LOL! i wasn't really bored to death, because i was also expecting it to be like you said the standard show format(not that i know what that is, but i just kind of imagine like the dog show you see on TV!), and i wanted to see what the show yorkies look like(in person).
i tried to pay attention in the beginning (i DID get there late, and it had already started) but i couldn't hear anything the judges were saying, i just see cute yorkies with long coat going in circles over and over again. i got bored after watching that for a while and not knowing what's going on.
i realize that it was probably annoying for the participants that we were so loud. i got bored because i couldn't hear what was going on, so i started walking around with milu to visit with different dogs.
i don't think it was a meet-up type of event. but i didn't know what to expect really. but i was definitely expecting it to be more formal. LOL
i kind of wanted to show milu, just for fun. but i thought we should probably just watch LOL milu will never let me nag her with a brush like that.

It was my first match so I figured they were going to do it in standard show format but that didnt happen. Not to mention it was so loud in there; I was right next to the ring and couldnt hear. I wasnt too concerned because we just went there for practice--I didnt expect him to win anything.
I will make sure I tell the president that she needs a bullhorn for future years!
I was really surprized that the SF Meetup group endorsed the match--its not at all a meetup kinda thing so I can totally understand why most of you were bored to tears and expecting it to be something different. |
