i'd wait it out too for a little bit. you don't want to go switching foods for no reason if what they are eating is working for them. They could be itching from the sand, you know how hard it is to get that out of your own hair LOL imagine it all over your body. plus, even tho they don't go outside a lot the outdoor allergens still make it in your house.

My morgan was always eating her feet and at first i suspected allergies. didn't matter what food she was on, she still itched. so after trying numerous things i went out and bough organic coconut oil. i add this to her food everyday and i've notice much less itching since she's been eating this. just a thought
