Whew! Well thanks to all who sent hugs and good thoughts and great advice!

Addie is finally back home!

I was so stressed and nervous, but I couldn't bring myself to call the vet at all to check up on her. I was afraid of bad news.

She did throw up in the car on the ride home and then peed on the carpet, but overall she's doing better than I thought she would. She was really drowsy at first and is starting to get slightly more active. I can't wait to have her sutures out and for this horrible experience to be over!
I was given an antibiotic to refrigerate and give to her twice a day and pain medicine for once a day.
She's totally mad at me, though.

It makes sense since I'm the one who dropped her off at the vet's office. Normally when I ask for a kiss, she leans forward and gives me one. Now when I ask for a kiss, she turns her head the other way. And whenever I call her name or look at her, she has her ears back like she's afraid I'm going to hit her. *sigh*
I can deal with being ignored, though. I'm just thankful she's okay.
These little babies sure are stressful! But totally worth it.
