I have one and so does my mil, and a good friend. First off, you are really never sure what you are going to get as far as coat. Mine has more of a wavy-ish coat. She has a huge overbite and is rather homely. She is utterly devoted to me, and is a one-owner dog. She does not like my husband or any other man that comes in the house. Grooming is rather easy, as she never mats really, but on the down side, no matter how much she is brushed or bathed, she doesn't really look any better than when she started. My mother in laws dog has grey loose curls. She matts easily. She is "cuter" than my dog in the sense that she doesn't have a huge overbite, lol. She has the same exact temperment though. She only likes my mil, and is rather protective. My good friends is probably the cutest one. She has tight little curls and is less linky...more compact little dog. She is high maintenance grooming totally, but looks totally cute when she is dolled up. She also shares the same exact personality as mine and my mil's dog. She doesn't like my friends husband and is stuck to my friend all the time, constantly underfoot.
They all bark I would say less than a lot of yorkies, but are very watch-dogish. They still bark a moderate amount. They all are rather intelligent though.
