I am so sorry your mom is going through this with her little Dida.
. Hopefully your mom is on her way to her regular vet. I don't have any more advice than what has been given. Once her baby is better (will keep her in our thoughts!) your mother should not give up on getting answers from the petsmart hotel personnel. Imho
