 Puppy food during pregnancy
I just started adding a little puppy food to my girl's regular diet today. she is due in early-mid nov. I am slowly adding just a little at a time and i will build up to all puppy food in her last 2 weeks. well, SHE DOESN'T LIKE IT! She is digging through the kibbles and only eating the adult! What a little stinker! Any suggestions? I don't want to take her completely off her adult food just yet. Just a gradual introduction of the puppy food for now. I've been making her hard boiled eggs and giving her the yolk once a day for about a week now. i've given her scrambled eggs, chicken and other things to supplement her throughout the pregnancy but i know she is going to need the puppy food near the end. What if i poured a little chicken broth over the puppy food? Is it okay for her to have broth through out the day (i free feed) or should i limit the amount of it she eats? |
