Chase does the exact same thing. I think he was almost completely trained at 5 months but we treated him each time he went. My husband noticed that Chase would drink and drink even though he wasn't thirsty just to pee again because he knew he was getting a treat. He also won't pee and potty at the same time. He secures two treats this way. It's a good thing that we take out some Innova from his meals and ration them off as treats or he'd be a chubby little man! He just turned one on Sunday and now only treat two times a day. These Yorkies are super clever!!!
