Make sure you tell the groomer exactly what you want him to do. Otherwise, you will not be happy and could have a completely shaven puppy! I didnt bring anything the first time I went, but I did tell the groomer to come out and I went over everything I wanted done and asked them to repeat it so that I knew they knew what I wanted. She came out perfect! I would definitely get his nails clipped every few weeks, but for grooming, I give her a bath every other week and every other month or so will get her groomed.
As for the potty training, I started to take Lola out every 2 hours. Now, she can wait 3-4 maybe more at times. I have no idea how to teach her to let me know when she needs to go out. Also, I have a wee wee pad in her xpen and she knows to use it when she is in there (if we leave her or in the middle of the night), but when she is running around the house, forget it, it escapes her that she can go in there to pee. So, if there is an accident, I usually blame myself since I should have taken her out sooner. I am hoping to figure out a way to teach her to let me know she needs to go potty. |
