I agree with you 100% that no one method works for everyone and that we should each do what works for us. That doesn't mean that one person is right and another is wrong, it means that each of us have found methods that are right for our specific situation. I also believe that our vets should be a very important part of our decision making -- if we can't trust our vet then we should be looking for a new one.
In a pinch and in an emergency, we do what we have to do until we can get professional help. I am so glad that Ruth was there to lend some moral support and help.
