I know y'all can't be any more bored with my tail-licking mama stories than I am!

But, have any of you heard of a dog that licks so much?

She has stopped licking their tails now that they're healed, but when they're nursing, she doesn't stop licking them. I know she does it to stimulate them, and for other instinctual reasons, but for Pete's sake - enough is enough!

She keeps interrupting their nursing, and knocking them down off her with all the licking. When I distract her from them, she licks her foot, the towel, me, etc.!

We have hard floors in our house, but our closet has carpeting, and when I get out of the shower, I find her in there just going to town licking the carpet!

I got her when she was 13 weeks, but I'm wondering if she was weaned too early, or if there's just no reason for her being so 'licky.'

Don't get me wrong, it doesn't usually bother me, and I usually think it's cute, but poor pups don't have much rest from it.
