yea. when my lil cousin was v young, she kept pulling my yorkie's tail and that hurts because my yorkie yelped! n whenever my dog sees her, she will run away like she just saw the devil! Now that she is bigger and older, she knows hw to handle them. My yorkie (the same one that she pulled her tail) now lets her hold her and cuddle beside her. She is very gentle and understands how to handle them. So, yea, close monitoring is a must.
