Lily is full of excitement when I get home. She jumps up & down and can hardly contain herself. She actually looks a little crazed. Usually I tell her to sit and then pick her up. I was reading that this type of excited behavior can lead to the dog jumping up on visitors when they come to your home. The article said that when you come come to the dog in the excited state you are suppose to ignore them until they calm down. I've been home for 45 mins and Lily is still jumping and barking. At this rate she may never be out of her xpen. Has anyone else had experience with this?
