cause I had this problem with Go-Go always led with her head and gagging, then she'd walk along and try to bite the lead....she was fighting the lead. I found that she didn't like the neck piece, so we had Karen make her a special one....very short, fitting just under her chin and very narrow....that didn't work so, we went to the very soft satin small braid.....and me changing my pace and starting off before her, also really pulling my elbow in towards my body and my upper arm and wrist angling back (that kept the neck piece in the right postion).....Me making those 2 adjustments made all the difference.
Karen is out of Oklahoma, she's the only person I'll get my leads from. She custom makes them according to your height and your dog.

hadn't really thought about it but i don't think so because in all my pictures in the ring, I am holding my arm out. So, I will try that tomorrow when I am practicing with him. Whwn you say wrist angling back are you saying that as I have my elbow pulled close to my side that my wrist should be angling toward my shoulder? or toward my dog? Thank you so much for the info.
