I traveled from Pittsburgh to Texas. My Sasha was nervous but it really wasn't too bad. She had to be in her carrier under the seat in front of me. We just kept putting our hand in there and petting her. We took her out and held her once but got yelled out. Just make sure you have water available for her. We had a bowl but didn't buy a bottle before we got on the plane. It took too long for them to come around with it. I think it cost us $80 each way. You would think for that price that you could hold them on your lap once you are in the air.
