 Should I get a boy or girl?
Hello, new to the site, I have a 14 month old 5-6# little boy, neutered, spoiled (of course) who is desperately needing a friend to play with. I am home all day, and he is always with me, and he LOVES to play... I take him to the in-laws and he plays with their yorkies, but they are 11 and 12 years old, so they don't always want to play with my man Ollie....
So I want to get another dog for Ollie. However, the in-laws have 2 neutered males, and even though they are not intact, they still fight over territories and things.... so I was thinking, should I get a girl and get her spayed? What do you think? Who would get along with my man better? another neutered male or spayed female? if I got a female, they would not compete for territories, right?
My dog is very demanding, he is bossy.. and i would not have it any other way...we love him so much... and so I know that i can't have an overly territorial dog, because this is Ollie's house..
please let me know what you think, and if you know of any good breeders in the northeast tennessee area, i would appreciate that too!
