I have flown with my yorkie quite a few times and I do agree with all the advice that has been listed. I would like to add that your baby's temperment will also determine their behavior on the flight. If (s)he's a barker then I think you should bring something they can chew on for a while to keep them occupied. Also if you can take them on a long walk before the flight to make sure they're tired it would help them to sleep more. My mom has a yokie and usually on the way back home my baby sleeps becasuse he's so tired from playing with his buddy for 3 to 4 days but on the way there, he's usually a lot more restless. As others have said, some flight attendants are very strict about even holding their bag in your lap so you want to make sure you are able to console them without being able to pick them up. |
