Make sure she is used to the carrier you will be using. Have ID tags on your baby at all times in the airport and during the flight. Make sure you have a leash with you as well. Many airports will not allow you to have them on a leash walking in them, so make sure you know if this is allowed. Pack a blanket in the carrier in case the floor boards are cold. Bring disposable potty pads with you - you can use them in the airport bathroom floor before boarding and you can also use them in the airplane bathroom floor during the flight if necessary. Once you take off, you may be able to put the carrier on your lap. If you have a really nice flight attendant, they may let you open the carrier, but many do not and that is what the rules say. The carrier will need to be under the seat in front of you for take-off and landing both. Many times the motion of the flight will lull them to sleep, especially if the flight isn't terribly long.

Good luck!!!!!
