My Mom had a similar thing happen with her silky terrier years ago. Something scared her at the groomer and she bolted. They searched for hours and didn't find her. My brother went back and kept looking in the same places and he eventually found her in the woods near the kennel. She was a swampy mess and soaked and scared but okay.
My only suggestion based on that (and thinking that everything you've done sounds great) is to continue to search in the area around the groomer because she may have been too frightened at first to come but will be willing to come right away now. |
