Cry Missing hair on top of my yorkie head

HI. I just found a small spot missing hair on my Yorkie's head. It looks like a semi-round scar. I felt so sorry for her because after reading some posts some where else, I realized I may have been making her top knots too tight. I thought I wasn't. Anyway, I changed the position of the top, I now make two knots and I make sure the spot is completely under one of them and the hair is not pulling. I mean the scar was exactly at the end where the hair was picked up. Couple of questions, what does this mean? will the hair keep falling out? Should I stop making the top knots once for all? Will it ever grow back again? The skin does not look red, irritated or anything but if feels tender. But her skin per se is tender (I mean soft skin), I don't think it is irritated just that it has a round line with no hair.
Can some one advise me what is the best step to take and how to allow the hair grow back if indeed will grow? With your experience, have you seen hair grow back again?
