You could try Comfortis. I read some articles while volunteering at the vet's & the vet thinks it is fine. He didn't really have an opinion on which one is better I don't think (though I didn't specifically ask him) I think it has some natural plant thing in it that kills fleas. It is an oral beef chewable thing (I think). I read that a few months ago so I am not sure if it is correct!
