The clear gooey discharge is perfectly normal. The discharge will get more noticeable the further along she gets. I always keep the hair on the vulva trimmed short so it does not get so gummy. Some mommas get so fat they can't lick their vulva themselves to keep it clean so I make sure they are clean. You female should go at least 59 days from the 1st breeding in order for the pups to be fully developed. Any sooner than 57 or 58 days it would be hard for the pups to make it.
Temperature drops that low are pretty common. If the momma has not eaten her blood sugar could be low and that could cause her to run a lower temperature. Usually the temperature will go up and down so it can be very frustrating trying to go by the temperature. |
