We just brought her home last night so she's still quite nervous here. At home she had a doggy door out into a run and a pee pad inside, no problems at all. But here it's like she doesn't know what to do outside and yet she sniffs all over so she must be able to smell where Tango pees. I took her out about 3 times between 8 and 11 pm but she didn't go so I put her in the bathroom overnight with her crate and a pee pad, this morning she still hadn't peed so I took her outside for about 10 -15 min. no pee. She was shivering so I took her in and sat with her on my lap for awhile and as soon as I put her down she peed on the carpet. Any suggestions?
She is getting used to quite a lot all at once because at home she didn't have to wear a harness and leash when she went outside. Also I don't think there was much traffic on her road whereas my neighbourhood is quite busy.
For those that didn't read my other posts she is almost 3 yrs. old, not a puppy.
Any help you guys can give me to help her settle in and be happy here I will be grateful for.
