As Topnot says, it's dependent on her genes, whether her coat is a slow growing silk, soft coated, etc and the care you give it. Whether you allow it on furniture, grass and whether you wrap it or not. But, on the average, yorkies obtain full coat at approximately 2 years of age. The ones you see in magazines, with their coats dragging the floor and beyond, are what you call in "Special's Coat" these dogs are a bit older.
