Keep that paw pad hair trimmed, Joey has done some major slides on our floors, but we have a fairly large area for him to run. The primary problem was a sliding glass door, and he'd run for it, try to stop, but kept sliding. Trimming the hair works great, or even a little throw rug in front of the door, until they get use to the floors.
