Question Changing from Carpet to Wood Floors

O.K., I work, and Apple's potty training is not going so well...Even when I kept her confined to the kitchen, she wasn't cooperating ...So now, she has the kitchen/living room, dining room and entry hall, and has decided the living room is one giant puddle pad...lol...I can't handle the wiz spots, so I'm getting wood floors (laminate, 'cause it doesn't stain) in the living room/dining room next week (the rest is tile)...My concern is her running around the room, on the wood floors like she sometimes does, on the carpet, and hurting herself...I'm hoping someone will tell me that she will instinctivly not run? If this isn't the case, does anyone have any "helpful hints from heloise" to pass on? Thanks so much...

p.s...crating her and coming home for lunch is not an option...
