ok then first of all consistency in taking him out to potty is number one.. do you use pp pads.. get him an xpen.. put lots of toys in it.. a pp pad food and water.. play play with him as much as possible.. put him in a small crate in your bed with you.. so he is close to you.. for once he is trained you can then let him sleep with you and that is what he wants.. hehe
If you leave a small puppy in a large place or he is able to roam the whole house.. it is too much and yes accidents will happen..when he goes potty outside.. you clap your hands and say he is a good boy in a good excited voice so he knows he just made you happy.. good postive sounds from humans is what he needs... if he has an accident clean it up.. and go on.. I say you pp outside.. and that is it.. If you catch him doing it in the house.. right away you take him outside and tell him to go potty outside..he will not as he just went..
another thing you can use is belly bands.. many make them on the forum.. or if you or you mom sew it is cheap to make.. make a few of them.. buy scraps at walmart.. velcro also..make them to fit him and the velcro needs to be long enough to stay done up..
