I'm not sure what people mean when they say hyper; there is such a wide range of energy in children and in dogs that is considered normal. For those with high energy, usually exercise will help relax them and make them seem less hyper. If a dog is continually running around even after a walk, and no outside noise is provoking it, I would have a vet check. Has he been neutered? Smells of females can make them act like this, they can smell a female dog that's in heat for miles, and will act very agitated, because he wants her!
I don't think the Nutri-cal will help at this age.
