I've only had one litter myself so far so not tons of experience here, but she sounds very close to whelping. I think some diarrhea is normal prior to whelping. Some nutri-cal is surely in order and I would also try to get some fluids in her even if just a tiny bit. Keep her out from underneath the bed; she is going there looking for a safe haven to have her pups. The temp is low meaning whelping time is close, anywhere from now to 24 hours from now; I'd guess sometime today. Try to keep her in her whelping box, stay with her talking to her to keep her calm.
Are you over reacting?.....not for a first time(?) yorkie mom, but you need to calm down and relax yourself. Sadie can pick up on your feelings and get more nervous herself (maybe that's part of why she's hiding), and can deter her in whelping.
Though the vets office didn't offer much help, or what you wanted/needed to hear (some reassurance?), but I'd guess their little info meant that Sadie is doing nothing abnormal and that if she does whelp after business hours, you certainly should have the e-vets phone number on hand IN CASE it is needed.
Most likely all will go well, so try not to worry so much. There are many here to support you and help any way they can. Hang in there, sounds like it won't be long now. Do you know how many pups thre are?
