Imagine a place where purebred dogs can be featured. Imagine a venue that welcomes judges’ groups, dog clubs, breeders and individuals to teach the public about their chosen breeds. Imagine a centre that can be used to promote education and responsible dog ownership. This is the most exciting new canine initiative in Ontario. This is the PawsWay Pet Discovery Centre.

This invitation is an opportunity for you to use your own imagination and envision how the PawsWay facility can fulfill your personal needs. Or perhaps you might wish to share your expertise by lecturing or holding seminars. PawsWay is offering the purebred community its space as an ideal location to showcase purebred dogs.

PawsWay is a project of the Purina PetCare Legacy and is dedicated to supporting, recognizing and highlighting the important role pets play in our lives, such as the heroes honoured in the Purina Animal Hall of Fame, Guide Dogs and Service Dogs. PawsWay’s mission is to educate and to promote responsible pet ownership.
Located on the waterfront, beside bobbing yachts, in a beautifully restored warehouse, PawsWay has 16,000 square feet of air conditioned space. There are several meeting rooms, a good sized lecture hall, and a 3700 square foot event centre, with room for a 35 X 35 ft ring. The facility is suitable for small breed specialties, puppy matches, sanction matches, obedience classes, demonstrations, grooming clinics … the possibilities are endless.

General admission to PawsWay is free to the public. Groups are encouraged to use the space and provided there is an educational component there may be no charge for the use of the space.

Judges groups are welcome to host seminars. Clubs are invited to use the rooms for their meetings. PawsWay welcomes all groups, all clubs, all organizations, to meet, discuss, socialize and learn together. Consider PawsWay your “clubhouse”. It is your own facility, if you wish it so.
