I would use Nature's Miracle; it has enzymes in it that are actually bacteria that "eat" the protein in urine. It's the smell of this protein that makes dogs return to the spot, so all the protein needs to come out. You might want to test in an inconspicuous spot.

After this, I would then buy a leather cleaner and protector. First you clean carefully following directions, and then you put a coat or protector on, and liquids don't absorb as easily. I think if you just clean with a leather cleaner only, he will pee on the spot again.
