I know that it is suppose to be a good idea to leave a open crate for a puppy, but Bailey prefers to sleep on his pet pad bed rather then in his crate lately. Is it okay to remove the crate from the Xpen? Or would it be better to remove the pet pad? I can't have both because there isn't enough room in the pen. He does prefer the bed though, it is so soft and cushy, I can understand why! Thanks for any advice.
