 hell, my sister got a 4 week old lab puppy a few weeks ago (Against my advice) And it has biting problems already. It is now up to her to teach the puppy bite inhibition. And that is a hard Job..

  I'm sorry but I disagree with you on the larger breed dogs.  I showed and bred Golden Retrievers for well over 10 years.  They are ready to go between 8-9 weeks.  At around 5 weeks of age the mom weans herself away from the pups.  The pups are all together for the next 3-4 weeks before they leave.  I can't speak for all large breed dogs, I'm no expert but I can speak for the Golden Breed.
