As for Michael, his death hit me like a ton of bricks. I am in total shock and am heartbroken. This man was so talented and such an icon. I REALLY think it is disrepectful of the media to hark on his past legal problems today of all days...I changed that channel... We all should remember that he was acquitted of all charges. Yes, he became eccentric in his later years but with all the pressure and public scrutiny the man has been under, since he was a child, it is not surprising. I'm not sure too many of us would turn out "normal" in similar circumstances.
I will always remember and love Michael for his music that became a part of the soundtrack of my life. I will mourn for him and pray for his family, especially his children. The world has lost a great talent. I am watching MTV, who are playing M.J. videos, and the tears can't help but come while seeing this man in his glory days...such talent! He was only 50 with a world tour on the horizon...he already sold out Wembley Stadium before the tour even began, no small feat. The man may have been on the verge of one heck of a comeback but we'll never get the chance to know. Regardless, he will always be the King of Pop.
R.I.P. Michael...thanks for the music and the memories! Dance and sing among the angels now! Much love to you | I like what you wrote. |
