Nutri-cal is a high calorie nutritional supplement that comes in a tube like toothpaste. Most dogs love it. You can get it at Pet-Smart or Petco or order it online from a pet supply company. I always have it on hand for when momma dogs and puppies go off their feed. It also helps during labor to give the momma more energy and stronger contractions. If you have any karo syrup on hand you can give her a little of that. It gets messy but it does work for low blood sugar. |
