I really recommend you take her temperature. It will serve as a guideline as to what is going on. If she loses a puppy and infection sets it she could get sick really fast. A temperature over 103 would be an indication of that. Most of the time their temperature will drop to 98 to 99 about 12 to 24 hours before the labor starts. A normal temperature usually runs 100 to 101.5.
