I agree I don't think height matters lol depends on the puppy. We have a 5 year old little girl who never tries to escape and and 8 month old little boy who has scaled the side of his 36" tall expen from the time he was 6 months old. We had to buy netting and make a top for it. (We did this to keep him in and hawks out ).
