I use to have AT&T a long time ago and it always dropped calls so I switched to Sprint. I really wanted a iPhone so I got one in December, it does occasionally get dropped calls but just as many as the others. Maybe one a month or so. I waited so long to get one because of hearing about the dropped calls but I have not had a problem with it. Maybe check your area and make sure you have coverage.
