That is a lot of sleeping for a 7 month old. Medically he could be deficient in something, or something could be going on internally. If he is infested with fleas maybe they are draining him, and without enough blood, he doesnt have the energy to be active. I would get an appt with the vet and bring it up to him asap. Maybe you could initiate playing with him more, or give him more petting sessions or walks to keep him awake. His previous owners maybe didnt show him enough attention so he was left to keep himself entertained, so sleeping is what he did. Poor baby, I hope he is ok, Im glad he has a new home where he will be loved and properlly taken care of. |
