Ruby is in surgery as we speak. The vet's office has called me twice since I've been home. Once to get authorization to pull two baby teeth and once to tell me she was doing fine under anesthesia. She is staying warm and vitals are good. They will call again when she is awake and alert. I think I lucked out finding this animal hospital. They truly love your pet as if it were theirs and they understand how we feel about our babies. I am not sure who was shaking more this morning, me or Ruby. It was very upsetting signing the paperwork which lists all the things that could go wrong. They were consoling us both. I can't wait to get Ruby back in my arms.

Oh gosh...I remember feeling exactly this way back in March when Sophie was spayed. Makes you feel like you're handing over your life when you hand them over the Vet Tech's, doesn't it?
Sophie turned out just fine and so will your little Ruby. Hang in there Mom..it's almost over.
