Glad you were able to take such quick action! That had to be frightening! We have fire ants bad down here too. I seem to just move them around the yard instead of getting rid of them. That is one of the biggest reasons I can't let the dogs out alone even though we have a nice acre fenced for them. Between fire ants, cow killer ants, spiders, snakes and hawks, it is just way too dangerous outside for these little babies!

Put a little Campho-phenique on thos fire ant bites. Takes the sting away and helps with the itch that comes after.
